I must say that I was lucky enough that a couple of years ago I binge-watched The Bureau and to be honest, it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever seen in my life. Up until that point, nothing even remotely resembled it.
You won’t regret it
There is a correlation between the two series, obviously it was mentioned that it was “influenced” by it, but, to be honest, I wasn’t expecting a similar story. Don’t get me wrong, the series up until that point is amazing, great cast, good photography, but it’s not something I haven’t already seen in the French version. It’s too early to say how it will turn out, but I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t seen The Bureau to watch it.
It’s not something you’d watch while riding your bike on the training machine
After Fassbender played the professional assassin in David Fincher’s film The Killer and I saw that he was in the cast, I knew straight away that he was a great choice for the role. Those kinds of series require a certain amount of concentration to be able to follow all the characters in the plot and the little details about them. Some might even consider them slow-paced, maybe even boring, but those characteristics and those complicated personal battles that the characters have, plus the slow build-up of tension, is what makes them great in my opinion.
