Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time
replaces his father in some shots, as the two are very similar. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later, in Season 2, the scar moved to the right side, leaving his left side without a mark. Over the years, my eyes adjusted until the darkness became my world and I could see.

In the fields of cinematography and screenwriting, it is recommended to limit the narrative of characters, allowing the actions, conversations, and scenes to speak for themselves. However, if there is one exception, and it’s called Dexter! From the very beginning, I was charmed by the character of Dexter – a dark, introverted man.
Seasons 1 and 2 stood out exceptionally, earning a commendable 9/10
The strength of the character development was obvious, reinforced by the impeccable cast and engaging, crime-filled storyline. However, the quality of the show began to wane after that. The introduction of new characters and excessive drama weighed down what was once a classic series. Despite my love for the characters, I sensed a gradual decline in their charm, including Debra.
However, I must emphasize that the first two seasons are must-watches and should not be missed
The writing and direction were solid, but Dexter himself stood as the dominant focal point, as his portrayal of dark humor remained a standout aspect. His narrative in the episodes was a unique perspective from which we learned how he viewed things, people, and crime; it was absolutely gripping. I recommend this show, but I urge viewers to take it at their own pace and choose how many seasons they want to indulge in.
