The locations look gorgeous, the action sequences so far have been engaging and the performances convincing
I definitely didn’t have Eddie Redmayne as the Jackal on my streaming bingo card this year, but here we go. It’s great to see a classic novel with such a lavish production, and it all plays out really well as far as I’m concerned.
On the other hand, it’s always good to see Charles Dance flex his acting muscles
Like other reviewers, I don’t buy Lashana Lynch as an MI:6 agent and feel she was wrongly cast in the role. Úrsula Corberó is lovely to watch on screen, although I’m afraid she was a little underused.
